I'm sick of thinking what to draw to make everyone happy.
When i do what i want there always is someone who will ask 'why this?', or other stupid question.

I'm not an artist.
I don't call myself 'artist'... Cuz I'M NOT.

Maybe i should draw something really 'artistic', for example vegetables. Or something 'deeper' like couple of black circles on a paper.. and i'll say that this is how i feel right now. Great, isn't it? Yeah.

In school (art school) i do many 'artistc' things like portraits and so on. Is that cool? For me - not. I'm here only to learn these things but it doesn't mean that i have to like it.
If my 'fantasy' pictures are not as good as 'real art' (lol) just stop watching me. That's all.

I just want to do what i love. :/

:hugs: You shouldn't have to feel like that. do what you love to do. if it raises a few brows then let the brows raise. they'll get over it :)

Your intergrity is the only thing that truely matters in the end. don't follow the mainstream just be yourself.
ja se tak mysle, ze nie powinnas przejmowac sie tym co mowia inni tylko rysowac to co chcesz, a jak im sie nie podoba to olej ich, przeciez chodzi o to zeby tworzyc dla siebie nie dla innych :)

'Some artists prefer to let the image speek for itself without influencing it with their own perspectives.' ^Aeires
Drawing simply for the sake of entertaining people here on DA is a big mistake, and yet, a mistake everyone commits (me included) It only led to frustration and unneeded restraints.

Draw what you want, really. I support you on this.
I sympathize with you.. I've gotten a lot of critique, too..

My advice is that you should do things on your own way.. it's YOUR art, not anybody else's.. you have to please yourself, not anybody else..

Besides, people act like that very often because of jealousy ..

This so sounds like the very beginnings of my darker, depressing art block "ages" (actually months)

I kind of quit art, and started to learn more styles, because people liked other styles more than mine... and now I can' t draw s**t because I just don' t know what to draw in what style to draw it. I hate it!

And I blame those dumb people never commenting, helping or correcting me on anything and just go like "woo, your art rocks" or "omg, you can draw so much better than me!" things...

Bah!

Anyway, I love your art and you have inspired me a few times... too bad it never got finished :( but that' s the dumbs' fault...

*hugs* :3

Draw what you enjoy. I draw fantasy cause its what I enjoy. I never did like abstract art, and most still lives are boring. What I like is art that looks like it was something the artist put their LOVE into, put effort into it because it was something they WANTED to do, not something they were forced to do.

If a person named "Eh" carries papers through a forest...

Does that mean "Eh bares sheets in the woods"?
I' ve always forced myself... that might have some extra effect on the depressions...

I know what you feel T_T the same happen with me... they told me to draw other things, real things.
But I don't care 'cause I'm happy with what I do ^^

The human is the only animal that I'd kill for pleasure
I'm not sure if you're referring to the comments Captain Kitsch has been leaving around dA, but draw what you want to draw. Art is for you, not for everyone else. :)

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you ever tried.

:noes:
aawww. This is sad news indeed. I wish you would draw to please you. Who cares what others think about it. I don't!
